• Lead Designer in a team of 6 Industrial Designers and 2 user interface designers for Bosch and Thermador brand home appliances

• Set the brand language for Thermador’s luxury appliances

• Collaborated with a global design, engineering, and marketing team

• Conducted user-focused research studies in support of product direction

• Set the design strategy for Vizio’s audio products, including Crave Smartcast Speakers, Sound Bars, and Sound Stands

• Applied creative design thinking and problem solving in the development of new product concepts and improvement of existing products

• Design Lead for Fugoo Tough, Sport, Style, Tough XL, and Sport XL modular Bluetooth speaker jackets

• Collaborated on a diverse range of responsibilities, including packaging design, web asset rendering, color-way explorations, etc

• Produced highly detailed 3D CAD and photo realistic renderings to communicate design concepts

• Traveled to Asia to oversee development and mass production phases for the Fugoo Bluetooth speaker line

Director of Research and Development, New Heart Medical, Irvine, CA, USA  7/2009 –3/2013

• Responsible for all industrial design, graphic design, mechanical engineering, machining, and prototyping

• Designed and machined 20 sets of aluminum molds, 100 polyurethane mechanical heart valves, and 50 base plates

• Produced 10 fully assembled artificial hearts for testing and 6 fully assembled artificial hearts for implantation

• Constructed a low-dust/contaminant assembly room

• Self-taught use of RhinoCAM, Mach3 machining software, and Minitech precision 4-axis CNC
